Canadian players are repudiated to play at All Rival Casinos
Canadians ardent gamblers were left in shock when the news broke that Rival Gaming Casinos will no longer be entertaining Canadian players at their site. Though there is no law in Canada that prohibits players from playing at any casino it is considered quite ironic that Rival casino which is a Canadian based online casino software manufacturer has decided that they will no longer be accepting any players from their native country.
This new law will be activated as of February first and rival gaming casino will no longer be seeing any more inhabitants from Canada. According to the operators of Cocoa Casino which is also a rival powered brand Canadian player’s can currently access their accounts for the rest of the week but are not permitted to make any new deposits.
Rival Gaming software also stated that in addition to the proscription of Canadian customers from playing at the casino any customer who has left their money sitting idly in their accounts after February 28th will not have access to it. Cocoa Casino has informed customers to withdraw their money out o their rival casino accounts before the arrival of such a time.
The imminent reason for this eviction of players is due to a breach of contract between Rival Gaming and a Montreal Marketing company known as T2 Marketing back in 2006 which led to the filing of a law suit against Rival gaming in December 2008. T2 stated that Canada Inc operated out of Ottawa as a software development company and four Canadian share holders of Canada Inc are accused of debauchery as they had been operating several online casinos under the names “Black Chip,†“Gaming Solutions,†Unified Support Systems,†and “Rival Gaming.†However, this does not implicate Rival Gaming or any of their online casinos. The courts will ultimately decide later in 2009.
Though several other rumors have risen that evidently Rival Gaming Casino has received orders from their investors to pull out the plug on their Canada based projects and they should cease to perform any more business with Canadian players. Complying with their requests Rival Gaming casino has passed on the orders to the casinos they power.
are expected to follow suit but no confirmation has been received from another popular brand powered by the Rival casino namely Lions Slots. Still accepting US players Rival Gaming Casino has made it quite clear that the Canadian Move in February has absolutely nothing to do with the US or any new online players that may some from the US.
