Cryptologics merges Paramount Digital to create a realm of fantasy
A recent announcement in the world of online casinos it was revealed that before the end of this year, Cryptologic online casinos such as InterCasino and VIP Casino will introduce slot games based on Paramount movie characters. This is consequent to the multi-year contract between Cryptologic and Paramount Digital.
Being one of the leading online gaming software provider, Cryptologic has now the exclusive rights to develop and offer online slot games that are based on more than 20 Paramount Pictures’ movies as per the terms of their agreement. Cryptologic would now be able to create a portal exclusive to movie based online slots. The movies include the all time classics such as Beowulf, Beverly Hills Cop, Ferris Bueller, Braveheart, Forrest Gump and Ghost.
Already parts of Cryptologic’s current suite are a few movie based slots including one of the most Prominent namely the Movie Mayhem series that consists of four slot games portraying different genres of movies. Fantasy realm, Elf Queens, Dragons and Warriors are the ones reflecting the mystic movies while Outta Space represents the science fiction genre. Taking back the players into the 1920s is the Silent Screen along with a special tribute paid to Charlie Chaplin. Also the Sunday Afternoon Classics are the reminders of all time hits like Gone with the Wind.
Brian Hadfield, CryptoLogic’s president and CEO, mentioned both Cryptologic and Paramount Digital Entertainment are satisfied with the deal. He described the deal as between the pioneers in their respective fields emphasizing on the fact that though Paramount Pictures brags a widespread catalogue of classic and new releases Cryptologic is making the world’s best branded online casino games.
Since it has been proven that branded games are behind the full throttle attached with the steering wheel to drive online casino revenue, he believes this deal is going to put Cryptologic in an indisputable position in their field. Luke Letizia, Vice President Interactive Licensing Paramount Digital Entertainment, stated that a suitable platform for Paramount brand is indeed the online gaming industry and was confident that the Cryptologic games will be on par with the standards of Paramount Pictures properties.
Having recently suffered a major setback when it lost its standings with Marvel Comics, Cryptologic is now returning in the field. Marvel Comics have entered an agreement with Cryptologic’s rival Playetch and given them the exclusive rights to develop online slot games based on Marvel Comics super heroes.
