Default What's the best losing hand you ever had?

Here's one for the poker players:
What's the best hand you ever had, that didn't win?
For me, I remember it like it was yesterday. It's been years, but I still haven't forgot. It was a friendly game of 5 card draw, played late night at a convention(we weren't even drunk, it was an AA convention!!)
It started small, just change, but led to bigger bills, then bigger bills, and so on. I was playing for prob 5 hours, and not in too bad of shape. I think I was up about $40, which was pretty good in this small realm.
I drew 3 kings!!!! I thought I could force the others out, but 2 other players held strong. I was $40 in before I even got to draw any cards. At least, I wasn't down yet, now just reaching even.
I took 2 cards, duh!!
The other two still in, one held strong (I'm guessing bluff)
The other drew 2 cards.
As soon as we got our cards, I could read the guy who drew no cards, he was done. I asked if we could raise our limit(it was $20 at that point)
SUre, one guy dropped, it's just me and him now.
I raise $50. He raises back $50. I'm in for $140 just to call, which I've got to see if he is for real, so I raise another $50-I'm now in for $190.
He raised his final $10. I have to call now.
I'm smiling ear to ear, as I've got 4 kings, nothing wild.
Unfortunately, the other guy is smiling bigger, as he has 4 aces!!
I'm out $200, I still have the final day of the convention to go, and I'm broke.
That's my story

My worse hand ever was when my 4 of a kind was beaten by a Royal Flush.
This was a very quick, but still a very painful hand to lose. I went all in with my Aces in the whole.

He turned over J 9 of Hearts.
I had A of diamonds and Ace of Clubs

A of spades A Q 10 of hearts fell on the flop. he looked so disappointed. He
knew he only had a flush. 2 of clubs fell on the turn. I knew I had him. I was too excited by my four of a kind to even consider he might hit a Royal Flush. Then it happened, everyone got very quiet on the table. The dealer turned over the last card.
K of hearts fell on the river.

Then it was over

Now that what I CALL a BAD BEAT Who'd've guessed there were 4 aces as well as 4 kings, I think MOST players would've done the same as you and gone all in with them.

Cool

Wow, two stories of 4 kings beat by four aces
you know, I would have went all in as well, now, if I am lucky enough to get 4 kings, I'll be thinking of these stories
I'll still go all in, but if I get beat by four aces, I post my losing story here as well
